I am making a pair of mid eighteenth century stays for a robe a la francaise.
It has front lacing over a stomacher, and back lacing. This is most because my client has a bust meassure 4 cm less than my dress stand, so i hope the stays could be more ajustable to her.

They are made from pink silk taffeta and the edges are made from bias cut green silk taffeta.
The boning is wissner 7 mm. boning.

Those are just soooo pretty and delicate looking. I am in awe, as always! What kind of Wissner boning? (I'm not that familiar with it)
